1. School Calendar

The school calendar is a mirror where the plausible dates of different occasions and exercises to be done during the approaching meeting are reflected. It is generally ready toward the start of each academic session. It ought to contain the accompanying stems of data.

2. Log Book:

 The log book is designed for the purpose of containing remarks of the school inspector or other important officer of the education department when they visit the school. It should not be limited to the comments of the officers. A complete record of the important events that occur during the session is what it should contain. The history of the school should be included.

3. Admission Register

There is an admission register. It is a record of all the children who attended the school. The admission register is to be kept in the school. It is necessary that it be bound and kept in a safe place. The register is used by superior authorities in a court of law as an evidence for the date of birth of the children.

4. Students Attendance Register

There is a register of attendance. Every class and section has a register which shows the names of the students on the roll during a month. The attendance is marked at the beginning of the school day. It’s a good idea to make entries in ink. Blanks shouldn’t be left. The students who remain absent from school without leave for fifteen consecutive days are struck off the rolls. There are holidays marked with red ink. Fees and fines are collected from the children.

5. Cash Book

Cash Book is a record of all cash exchanges happening from everyday in the school. Money transactions are recorded in the Cash Book. Money received from different sources like fines, donations, stipends, scholarships, grant-in-aid are entered on the credit side. The balance is shown in red. The day's business should be closed with the signature of the headmaster. 

6. Stock Register

All the property of the school is kept in a register. This property register must be entered when buying equipment or furniture. The head of the institution should check the register at least once a year. The stock register should hold the verification report. It can show which articles need to be repaired.

7. Service Book

The service history of the employees is contained in the service book. Information like the employee's date of appointment, his date of birth, educational qualifications, identification marks, permanent home address, transfer, leave accounts, date of increment, and reversion are carefully written in this book.

8. Reports to the Parents

The reports containing information about the child should be sent to the parents occasionally. Information like the academic progress of the child, his health condition, participation in co-curricular activities and other important information should be contained in it.
