Poverty is a condition in which individuals or communities lack the financial resources or means to meet basic needs and lead a quality life In which the common man is deprived of all the resources that are beyond his reach due to lack of financial resources. poverty is usually characterized by lack of income, limited access to education, health care, housing, and other essential services. Human has lack of financial resources for fulfilling their basic need. Poverty can be absolute, where individuals struggle to afford basic needs such as food, water and shelter, or relative, where individuals have insufficient income or resources relative to overall social standards. A large part of our country’s population is deprived of basic education, health and basic necessities of life. Rising inflation pushed more people closer to poverty due to food shortages. It is a multifaceted problem that affects people all over the world.. The causes of poverty are complex and multi-dimensional, and they can vary from country to country and even within different communities. Some of the following common causes of poverty.
1. Lack of education: Education is the weapon of any nation. Nations can not get development without quality of education. The most important of these is the availability and quality of education. Economic development cannot be achieved without a strong educational base. Limited access to quality education or lack of skills and knowledge can lead to unemployment or low-paying jobs, which in turn contribute to poverty.
2. Unemployment: Unemployment is a big problem of any country. Unemployment rate is intensively increasing day by day in the country. If there is more Unemployment in the country it will lead to poverty in the country. It is the main cause of poverty. It must be eradicated in the country otherwise it will lead poverty and make it difficult for individuals and families to meet their basic needs.
3. Overpopulation: Overpopulation is the main reason of poverty. It has become a main problem of any country. It can increase the poverty in the country. Every individuals require jobs for better life but it is not possible for government to provide jobs to each individual in the country. Government should make family plan to reduce overpopulation.
4. Inequality and discrimination: Social and economic inequalities, based on factors such as gender, ethnicity, or caste, can lead to exclusion from job opportunities, better education, and other resources that contribute to poverty.
5. Environmental factors: Environmental factors including natural disasters bring catastrophic changes and affects each individual in the environment can increase poverty. Environmental issues such as climate change, natural disasters, or degradation of natural resources can lead to loss of livelihoods and worsen poverty.
6. Political and social factors: Corruption, political instability, lack of good governance, and social exclusion can hinder development initiatives and exacerbate poverty.
In conclusion, It is a multifaceted problem that affects people all over the world. It needs to eradicate because poverty will make person helpless. It is important to recognize that these causes often intersect and reinforce each other and making poverty a complex issue that requires multi-faceted solutions.
